Member Care

At Eastview, we believe that the care of our members is very important. Because of this, we have different areas where we can assist our members needs, whether that be counseling referrals, help needs and family journeys.

We know that connecting to others for prayer and encouragement is a necessary part of our spiritual formation, especially in times of need.  Care Appointments are scheduled times we have set aside to meet with you for pastoral care.  We would like to hear your story, pray with you, and offer guidance on your next steps.

Care Appointments are NOT for receiving financial assistance.  If you have a financial need, please call 309-451-5036 and follow the instructions for our Benevolence process.

Care Appointments are scheduled Monday-Thursday at varies times during office hours. To schedule a Care Appointment select a date and time below.

The Family Room is also available on Sundays for prayer and encouragement during service times.

We want to help people connect to Christian Counselors when professional services are needed for healing and growth.

For information on counselors in our area contact: Sara Thompson or 309.451.5057.

We depend on our small groups to help support one another and take care of one another's needs.  For our church members that are not already in a small group, we can utilize our helps ministry team.  This team can assist with meals, and limited transportation to our Sunday services during times of illness, hospitalization, new baby, or other life interruptions.

For more information, please contact Nicki Green at or 309.451.5033.

We make visits to the local hospitals on Mondays-Thursdays.  Please let us know you are in the hospital or indicate that you attend Eastview when you are admitted.  Occasional visits are made upon request to those who are in the nursing home or confined to their homes.

Please contact our receptionist at 309.451.5000 or email

Care Groups are supportive small groups that are designed to provide emotional and spiritual growth to individuals who are walking through a variety of life circumstances.  Everyone has hurts or hang ups.  It is in these broken times in our lives that we have the opportunity to turn to God and others for support and healing.  Care Groups are communities where healing takes place.  Contact:  Jason Sniff 309.451.5006 or

Everyone encounters difficulties and hardships in life, and it can be helpful to have the support and encouragement of fellow believers during these times. At Eastview we have a team of Care Partners whose passion is to come alongside others in these seasons with a listening ear and prayer support.  They are not professional counselors, but they are equipped to listen, ask questions, and provide a safe and confidential space for you to consider your next steps.

At Eastview, we believe in the power of words and our Card Ministry is one way for us to speak ridiculous love and encouragement into people. This ministry extends comfort and encouragement to those people needing care.

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. -1 Thessalonians 5:11
