Space to Worship Again
Without a special needs ministry that provides accommodations for accessibility and inclusion, many families impacted by disability are unable to attend church.
Such was the case for the Agge family.
Having their first child changed everything for them. Before knowing that their daughter had a disability, they rarely made through a full service before their number was called — often being paged before even sitting down.
Once they were connected with the Special Needs Ministry here, they’ve been able to attend full services for the first time in years.
Their daughter has been part of the buddy program ever since, giving the family space to worship and breathe again. Now they are able to give back and support others on their special needs parenting journey. Bill and Bethany take an active role by inviting and mentoring new families impacted by disability and Bethany helps lead the Special Needs Care Group which meets monthly to provide respite and fellowship to families.
