Serving is simply love in motion, the practical way we bring hope + healing to real people.
You do not need a title, a talent, or a perfect week. You just need to be willing.
The playbook below is how we put that willingness to work.
Our Attitudes
The attitudes are simply behaviors we embody. They’re practical ways our faith takes shape as we serve and in everyday life.
WE CHOOSE THE BETTER
We purposely prioritize healthy rhythms of practicing Jesus.
LUKE 10:38-42
WE WATCH THE WIND
We observantly watch + respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
JOHN 3:7-8
WE PASS THE SALT
We thoughtfully consider the perspectives of outsiders.
MATTHEW 5:13-16
WE RIP THE ROOF
We enthusiastically go above and beyond to bring people to Jesus.
MARK 2:1-12
WE GRAB A TOWEL
We humbly love one another through serving.
JOHN 13:12-17
WE EMPTY THE JAR
We sacrificially give our first + best through the church.
JOHN 12:1-8
WE SAY THANK YOU
We frequently express our gratitude to God + others.
LUKE 17:11-19
WE SEND OUT WORKERS
We deliberately equip others to reach + care for the lost, hurting, + broken
MATTHEW 9:35-38
The Playbook
Simple ways to live out our vision right where you are.
Prayer Walk
Walk a block in your neighborhood and pray over every home, business, and person you pass.
The Buddy Box
Keep a box in your car stocked with snacks, water, and gift cards, ready for the moment you cross paths with someone in need.
Meal for a Neighbor
Cook a double batch and bring half next door, especially for a new baby, a hard season, or someone you have been meaning to meet.
Yard Work
Mow the extra strip, rake the leaves next door, shovel the sidewalk they missed. You are already outside anyway!
Driveway Neighbor Night
Pull a few chairs into the front yard and stay outside longer. No big plans, just presence and an open invitation.
Pay It Forward
Cover the coffee, the toll, or the gas for the person behind you. Small, quiet, and no explanation needed.
Encouraging Notes
Write a stack of handwritten notes and leave them where people will find them, in mailboxes, on windshields, tucked in library books.
Cards for a Nursing Home
Make cards with your kids, then deliver them in person and stay to visit. A few minutes of attention goes a long way.
Rock Painting
Paint rocks with simple, encouraging messages and hide them around town for strangers to find. A creative serve the whole family can do.
