FOCUS:
The story of David’s failure in 2 Samuel confronts us with the chaos our choices can create. Scripture invites us to see ourselves honestly, acknowledging where we avoid responsibility and need God’s mercy. Let this story move us to reflect on our own rhythms of surrender, confession, and renewal.

PRAYER:
Merciful Father, expose what is broken in us and meet us with your grace. Create in us clean hearts, renew our spirits, and restore to us the joy of your salvation. Help us walk in daily rhythms of exclusive devotion and dependent obedience. Amen

SCRIPTURES:
2 Samuel 11-12
