Elder Board Update

The elders are incredibly hopeful as we enter a new season at Eastview. God is bringing a new voice in Brandon Grant, and we continue to believe it will be important to have fresh voices and leadership to support him on the elder team. In January, we were pleased to welcome Travis Johnson and Aaron Traeger as elders. As part of this season of transition, we would like to share now that Barton Shaw, Darrell Douglass, and Jim Karch have elected to step off the elder team as of the end of April.

While additional elder transitions may take place later this year, our desire is to ensure the board is healthy and equipped to lead. We will be conducting current elder team evaluations in June, and one of our goals is to add new members to the team. The elder team and staff leadership will complete elder nominations in the coming months. We ask that you join us in prayer that God would raise up new leaders with a passion for His church, energy to serve, and fresh perspectives.
