Event Updates

Through generous donations from our local community in Bloomington-Normal and money raised through Eastview Sports concessions, we donated $17,000 to build a basketball court in Kenya at REM High School. In the summer of 2024, a team from Eastview Sports traveled to Kenya to see the finished court and run a week of practices for the Junior High and High School students at REM! This is the first time the students have had a basketball court on their campus. The video below highlights the last day of the trip where over 500 students gathered around the new court tot cheer on their classmates as Team Kenya scrimmaged against Team USA!

What's next?
Our 2024-2025 concessions will be donated to REM High School to transform the recreational field at the school into useable space for play. Once completed, a soccer field, 2 vollyball courts, a track and field space and a handball court will be established. Estimated cost is $15,000.

Welcome Home Haiti is an organization that seeks to change the story of Haitian families! A brick home with multiple rooms is life changing for a Haitian family facing poverty. Welcome Home Haiti has been doing the work of building brick homes for Haitian families since 2010. The video provided gives a glimpse of their amazing work. Our desire is that each year, Eastview Sports Outreach, is able to sponsor a new home for a family in Haiti through our concessions profit and donations. We ask that our community, whether it is through a school league or an Upwards league, would join with us to support the great work of Welcome Home Haiti!
