We love being a part of a 5-generation church and getting to connect with others from all ages and stages of life. We also know that it is critical to have a community of young adult peers who know what it is like to navigate the transient season of young adulthood. Both are valuable and necessary on this journey.
That’s why, on a regular basis Eastview Young Adults hosts Events created by and for young adults. All young adults are welcome!
Sometimes we hang out and have fun, sometimes we serve together, sometimes we grow together, but each time we gather our desire is that you would know you are not alone and that there are others navigating this journey with you.
You can see upcoming Events by connecting with us on social media.
We know that life in this stage can involve a lot of changes, so we've created a consistent space to gather in community, explore faith in Jesus, and how our faith impacts our daily life.
Join us on Thursday nights for our Young Adult Gathering (formerly called Sojourn) that includes a time of connection, teaching, and small group discussion. This is a great place to jump in if you are looking to connect with others in your age and stage of life!
Whether you are post-college, non-traditional student, taking a break from school, about to graduate, single, dating, engaged, married – we’d love to have you to join us! Come any week, as often as you can.

College students, did you know we partner with an incredible campus ministry called Encounter?
Encounter is an amazing community of college students from all the local schools (Heartland, Illinois Wesleyan, and Illinois State) searching for belonging, community, and Jesus. They come together every week to worship, pray, learn from the Word, and encourage each other.
Encounter small groups currently meet on Monday and Tuesday evenings. These groups are led by other students and no Bible experience is necessary to join.
Encounter also hosts worship and teaching nights, events, and other social gatherings for college students on all the campuses!
If you are a college student interested in investing with others on your campus we highly recommend diving deeper into Encounter. You can find the most up to date information on all things Encounter on their website.
Not sure if you want to take a step yet into our community? Already a part of the community but wondering how you can take the next step in your faith, relationships, and normal life? Stay connected with us on social media! We regularly post stories of young adults just like you, encouragements to take deeper steps in your faith, and information on upcoming young adult events.
