Family Resources

Eastview Family Resources is helping people to be intentional about building and rebuilding healthy homes and families. We provide resources that guide people throughout the seasons of families including those choosing to be single to those whose kids are grown and gone. We offer opportunities and resources to facilitate spiritual formation in the home and nurture the faith of our children and grandchildren.

Located just outside the Normal Campus Worship Center on the lower level of the atrium next to the bookstore, we have recommended resources for individuals, families and small groups. We have over 30 topical “Quick Read” Cards that provide overviews on topics such as “Considering Divorce,” “Leading Your Child to Faith Decision” and “Expecting A Baby;” along with “Next Steps” and “Recommended Resources” where we can connect you with pastors, confidants from the congregation, books, videos or ministry programs for your specific need.

At Eastview, we offer many different family resources and one of those is parenting quick tips. Check out these videos today.

Parenting Quick Tips

Beginning with the new realities of young adulthood, through the child-rearing years and into the empty nest, we have a plan for your family to follow that include milestone events such as your wedding, baby dedication, your child’s baptism, age milestones and launching a young adult. We also have ANNUAL PARENTING PLANS available to help you pass your faith along to your children. Register your family and each year on your child’s birthday, you will receive a birthday packet that will help focus on one particular area of spiritual formation in your child’s life. These are available from the birth of your child through their 18th birthday.

Sign up to receive your Annual Parenting Plan by texting #parentplan to 309-808-6002.

Once You are Signed Up...

We encourage all of you to pick up your first packet for the year that your child is right now, even if they have a birthday coming up.

  • On your child’s next birthday, we will automatically email you a notice that it’s time for your next packet. They will be available at our Normal Campus Family Resource Center outside of the Bookstore on Sundays.

Families and small groups are great places to have focused studies on marriage and raising children. Right Now Media offers a variety of studies for those looking for a family related study. We also provide classes such as "Discipline in the Early Years," "Spiritual Parenting" and "Tough Guys and Drama Queens." We host other events to enrich marriages and encourage parents.
